Welcome to the Rite Aid Liturgical website,
a resource of worship texts, graphics, ideas and teaching modules provided by the Liturgical Committee of the Diocese of Bradford in West Yorkshire, UK
Increasingly the worship in our churches demands the ability to draw on a range of alternative texts. Choice is the issue of our day.
In the past we were limited by rubric to a very limited set of approved variants. The more open invitation to use “these or similar words” gives us the opportunity to develop services which are full of exciting and creative images, taking on much more flexible and inclusive forms.
We hope this site will help in that process.
To copy any of these resources:
- use your mouse to highlight the piece of text you wish to copy,
- hold down the "Ctrl" key and press "C" (to copy),
- open your word processing programme (Microsoft Word etc)
- use your mouse to put the cursor where you want the text to go,
- hold down the "Ctrl" key and press "V" (to paste).
