Clergy training in Bradford Diocese is divided into Initial Ministerial Education (IME), which begins when somone starts training for ordination, and continues until the end of their curacy. Post ordination training is known as IME 4-7.
This is followed by Continuing Ministerial Education (CME) which is offered in a variety of formats, including Diocesan Study Days, in-house training for subjects such as Safeguarding, and opportunities to attend national or regional residential courses.
