Sudan Link

The Diocese of Bradford has a partnership link with the five dioceses of the Episcopal Church of Sudan (ECS) which cover the whole geographical area of the Republic of the Sudan.

Through this partnership we want -

- to deepen and extend our participation in God's mission.

- to support and encourage our brothers and sisters who feel marginalised and oppressed in their own country, yet maintain their faith in Christ with great courage.

- to learn through them more about what it means for us to be Christians.

The links in the menu on the left will take you to more information about each Diocese, and to news of the work we are doing to support them.

JESUS THROUGH OTHER EYES

A course of five interactive group Bible studies, JESUS THROUGH OTHER EYES is on sale at £11 (plus postage if required) for a pack of material enough for a group of eight.  The course takes a fresh look at what it means to live as a Christian, using illustrations from life in Sudan to help us step out of our culture comfort zone, giving the Holy Spirit opportunity to speak to us afresh.  Many parishes are using it this year as a Lent Course.  Full information about it can be read here.

If you want to publicise our link, or to create a display, try using the menu item 'News and Resources' on the left.

For a visiting speaker or more help, please contact the Link Committee.  You can email them from here.

More information about the background and history to our partnership with ECS in Sudan can be seen here.
