Debbie Child leads the Diocesan Office Team as Diocesan Secretary and Human Resources Manager. She is responsible for the smooth running of the Synodical and financial processes and administers legal procedures relating to pastoral reorganisation and parochial appointments.
She offers support to parishes and deaneries on employment issues, oversees appointment processes in the Diocese, the administration for CRB checks, clergy stipends, pensions and grants. Debbie is also responsible for the effective administration of the Office.

Jonathan Smith is our Senior Administrator. He provides Synodical and administrative support, and procedural and legislative advice to the Diocesan Secretary. He is responsible for the production of paperwork for Diocesan Synod, Bishop’s Council and various committees.

Jill Dall is PA to Debbie Child. She also oversees the admin for clergy removal, resettlement and first appointment, grants.

David Wilkinson is the Office Manager. He also handles the Diocesan database, and provides admin support for the Diocesan Advisory Committee. He also produces the monthly Bradford Diocesan News.

Liz Moy works three days each week as Receptionist/Administrator. She is responsible for processing CRB applications, updating the diocesan manual and deals with all committee papers. Contact Liz on (01535) 650552 or email Liz

Shaun Birch is the Diocesan Accountant who is responsible for preparing management and annual accounts for the Boards of Finance and Education and looks after parochial trust and various other charitable funds. He collects and collates data to calculate Parish Share. Shaun also prepares the monthly payroll, oversees the general running of the accounts section and offers technical support to parish treasurers.

Patricia Flanagan works with Shaun as Accounts Assistant, covering most areas of day to day finance. She handles cheques and cash, processes the many invoices and expense claims, Parish Share payments. Patricia is the first port of call for queries and correspondence.

David Meadows is the Property Officer whose principal duties are to deliver a maintenance, repair and improvement service for diocesan property, quinquennial inspections of all clergy houses and advise committees on property matters. He meets with clergy and their families, prior to their move, to prepare the houses for the new appointment.

Ann Kettlewell works four days each week as Administrator. She assists in the admin for the Property Officer and deals with initial enquiries about repairs. Ann also helps with administrative duties in the general office.
